Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)


Job Type: Full-Time permanent
Schedule: 30 billable hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our clinical team in Avon. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, strong clinical and communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based ABA practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments using appropriate, insurance-approved assessment tools.

  • Develop, write, review, and update individualized treatment and behavior plans in accordance with clinical and insurance requirements.

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 8-9 clients in collaboration with clinical leadership.

  • Provide ongoing supervision and clinical oversight of RBTs and ABA therapists.

  • Conduct regular parent and caregiver training in center-based and home settings as needed.

  • Review client data regularly and make program modifications based on individual clinical needs.

  • Provide daily clinical supervision and support to clients and RBTs.

  • Complete supervision documentation, treatment notes, program updates, and other required clinical documentation in a timely manner.

  • Participate in BCBA meetings, team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.

  • Support the ongoing training and development of RBTs through feedback, fidelity checks, team meetings, and training sessions.

  • Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, schools, and other behavioral health professionals as appropriate.

  • Participate in insurance reviews, peer-to-peer discussions, and clinical documentation requirements as needed.

  • Stay current with ABA research, clinical best practices, BACB ethical standards, and applicable certification requirements.

  • Participate in ongoing training in approaches such as NDBI, IISCA/PFA, feeding, sleep, and other evidence-based behavioral practices.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, empathy, and clinical judgment.

Qualifications
  • Current BCBA certification; BCaBA candidates may be considered based on experience and organizational requirements.

  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to receive, apply, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills.

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time position with 30 billable hours per week.

  • 4 days working in the office and 1 flexible work-from-home day.
