  • Perform truck and trailer repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders and manufacturer standards.
  • Cut, thread, fit, and plumb pipe for refined fuel and LP systems.
  • Work with air systems, 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems, welding, and metal fabrication.
  • Maintain company equipment, shop equipment, a clean work area, and customer vehicles.
  • Complete work orders with accurate descriptions, materials, and serial numbers.
  • Coordinate with the parts department and notify the Service Advisor when added work, delays, or changes affect the promised completion time.
  • Operate material-handling equipment and company vehicles.

What success looks like
  • Repairs are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
  • You communicate problems early instead of letting them become surprises.
  • Work orders clearly show what was done and what materials were used.
  • Customer equipment stays clean and the shop stays safe and organized.
  • You keep learning, help the team where needed, and become trusted with more complex work.
What you bring

  • Previous Class 4–8 truck and trailer chassis repair experience is a plus.
  • Experience with air equipment and an understanding of 12-volt systems.
  • Welding, metal fabrication, fleet, or shop maintenance experience.
  • Good judgment and the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
  • Clear communication, regular attendance, honesty, respect, and a willingness to help where needed.
  • High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
