Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Rehab Specialist to join our team at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab in Saginaw, Michigan. As a Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Rehab Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Pulmonary Rehabilitation program, providing specialized therapy to patients with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and assessments of patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, and other chronic lung diseases

• Develop and implement individualized pulmonary rehabilitation plans, including exercise programs, education, and lifestyle modifications

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including aerosol therapy, medications, and oxygen therapy as ordered by physicians

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes

• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatments, and outcomes

Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, techniques, and best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
