Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a E-Band Welder for our client. This job is responsible for performing TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and other materials according to specifications; reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings; setting up and adjusting welding equipment; inspecting finished welds to ensure quality standards

What’s a Typical Day Like?

Perform TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and other materials according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to determine the appropriate welding techniques.
Set up and adjust welding equipment to suit the specific material and project requirements.
Inspect finished welds for quality, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents, including wearing appropriate PPE and ensuring proper ventilation.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, keeping tools and work areas organized.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

Proven experience in TIG welding, with proficiency in welding both aluminum and steel.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Familiarity with various welding tools, machines, and equipment.
Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices.
Ability to perform quality inspections and adjust welds as necessary.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Communication skills.
