Reach Truck Forklift Operator

Location: Ocala, FL

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $16.50/hour
• 2nd Shift: $17.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join a busy manufacturing warehouse team. The primary responsibility will be safely operating a reach truck to move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. Candidates must also be willing to assist with manual loading/unloading and production tasks when needed.

• Safely operate a stand-up reach truck to move and store materials.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and designated staging areas.
• Transport raw materials, pallets, and finished products between the warehouse and production areas.
• Properly stage materials for production and shipping.
• Assist with manual loading and unloading when needed.
• Assist production teams with general labor duties during periods when reach truck operation is not required.
• Maintain organized and safe warehouse and production areas.
• Perform equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
• Accurately handle and position materials while preventing product or equipment damage.
• Perform additional warehouse and production duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 recent year of reach truck operating experience required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be comfortable operating a reach truck in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to perform manual loading/unloading and production work as needed.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move materials.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

This is a hands-on position. Candidates should be comfortable operating equipment as well as assisting with physical warehouse and production duties.
