Fitter Welders Needed in West Tulsa!
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter Welder to join our team. This role is responsible for fitting and welding metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards. Candidates must be experienced in multiple welding processes and capable of working from blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
- Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
- Perform welding using Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and Flux-Core (FCAW) processes
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a fitter welder or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Stick, MIG, and Flux-Core welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication processes
- Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $18–$30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Workweek: 6 days per week (overtime required)
