Litigation Paralegal – Venice Beach

Salary: $75,000 – $118,000

Location: Onsite in Venice Beach, CA

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a busy plaintiff-side firm in Venice. The firm focuses on personal injury and tenant rights litigation, representing individuals in a range of complex and high-stakes matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from intake through trial.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including discovery, subpoenas, pleadings, and trial exhibits.
• Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and medical records.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and expert communications.
• Prepare trial binders and assist with trial logistics.
• Conduct client communication with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in personal injury or tenant law.
• Strong knowledge of California state court procedures and e-filing requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
