Litigation Paralegal Complex Litigation (126)

Established and well respected litigation law firm with offices throughout Florida is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their team.  Experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, construction defect, premises liability and automobile negligence.  Candidates must have recent experience in a defense litigation firm and experience creating medical summaries.  This is an onsite position in the firms Plantation, FL office.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ litigation experience, preferably in the areas of personal injury, construction defect or automobile negligence
• Must have a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a defense law firm
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate by e-mail, telephone, or in person to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact in an environment with a diverse group of personalities
• Must have the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines in an environment with frequent interruptions
• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be flexible and solution oriented
• Must have advanced skills in computer technology using Microsoft Office Suite, Orion and document management applications (Sharepoint).
