Aspire Senior Living East Prairie, a skilled nursing facility located in the heart of East Prairie, MO, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to our residents and contribute to their overall well-being. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Aspire Senior Living East Prairie, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to each resident's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in residents

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

  • Document resident progress and treatment outcomes

  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology

  • Maintain accurate records and adheres to regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Clinical fellowship completed or in progress

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Missouri

  • Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
