About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to our residents and contribute to their overall well-being. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Aspire Senior Living East Prairie, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to each resident's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in residents
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs
Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Document resident progress and treatment outcomes
Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology
Maintain accurate records and adheres to regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Clinical fellowship completed or in progress
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Missouri
Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
