Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour (Shift differential available for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in Conover, NC. The ideal candidate has experience operating powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, supplying production lines, and maintaining inventory accuracy while following all company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or electric pallet jack (equipment varies by department)
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks efficiently and safely
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility
- Stage materials for production and shipping according to schedules
- Scan and verify inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
- Support warehouse and production operations with additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, walk, and work throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous forklift certification (certification may be provided upon hire)
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Experience operating multiple types of forklifts (Sit-Down, Reach Truck, Stand-Up, Cherry Picker)
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
