Building Maintenance Technician

Position Summary 

Assists in maintaining buildings, equipment and property; performs remodeling and new construction tasks including the plumbing, electrical and mechanical utilities.  

Essential Duties 

• Maintaining resort facilities, including employee housing. 
• Daily upkeep of associated facilities (interior/exterior), tools & equipment. 
• Assist with daily inspections of facilities. 
• Efficiently and safely balance priorities to execute duties in a timely manner.  
• Respond to , diagnose, and troubleshoot maintenance issues of all kinds, attempting to complete repairs yourself, and communicating with the Maintenance Manager when you are unable.  
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections of all buildings ensuring the integrity of all assets.  
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

•  Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate 
• Must be dependable. 
• Must be willing to work on Weekends and Holidays.  
• Strong communication and organizational skills, detail oriented 
• Strong people skills, a team player 
• Basic maintenance/problem solving skills required.  
• Basic hand tool knowledge is mandatory.  
• Willingness and ability to learn and develop skills on the job.  
• Carpentry and Electrical certifications a plus.
