Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant / APRN to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in an outpatient specialist office setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications, therapies and other treatments
• Managing general patient care
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays and lab work)
• Educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
• Counseling patients about their healthcare plan
• Holding specialty-specific responsibilities
• Taking medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting lab tests and diagnostic tests
• Performing physical exams
• Diagnosing and treating illness
• Educating patients about their treatment plan
• Follow up with patients

Qualifications

• Valid Physician Assistant or APRN license with current certification to practice in the state of employment
• Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks, is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient settings
