Tool Die Polisher

Description:

 The Tool & Die Polisher polishes, grinds, and finishes metal tools, dies, molds, and machine components to ensure smooth surfaces, accurate dimensions, and proper functionality. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of hand and power tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings. 

Requirements:

  

• Ability to polish steel dies and molds to precise surface finishes. 
• Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, polishing stones, diamond compounds, abrasive papers, and buffing equipment. 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. 
• Knowledge of different tool steels and surface finishes. 
•  Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish according to specifications
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as: 
  • Micrometers 
  • Calipers 
  • Dial indicators 
  • Surface finish gauges
