Certified Nursing Assistant

 The Nurse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the care of patient under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
They perform custodial tasks and assists with nursing duties in caring for patients in the inpatient Unit. They perform direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and procedures, observe and reports changes in patient conditions, and maintain a safe and clean patient and environment. Unit Director may assign to serve as Preceptor for the unit.Position QualificationsEducation:*  High School Diploma or GED or transcript preferred Experience:*  One year of Nurse Assistant experience in a healthcare environment preferred Licenses/Certificates: *  BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date. American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date and thereafter renewed by the recommended renewal date.
