Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Western Arizona. This position involves facilitating the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize their functional status during hospitalization. The role includes evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, and performing administrative duties within an inpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Position: Occupational Therapist Inpatient
- Location: Western Arizona
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with weekend shifts required
- Required Qualifications: BS in Occupational Therapy (OT) or higher, Arizona state licensure, minimum 1 year of experience or the ability to work very well independently
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient therapy settings, proficiency with documentation systems ReDoc and MedHost
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, modifying programs as needed, participating in discharge planning, and performing administrative duties. Candidates will also engage in professional growth activities and follow infection control protocols.
- Submission requirements include proper licensure and certifications before assignment start date.
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
