What You'll Do

As a Masker I, you will play an important role in preparing customer products for the parylene coating process. During your first 6 to 12 months, you'll learn the skills necessary to become proficient in masking, demasking, inspection, and other manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Masking and demasking customer products according to detailed specifications
• Following work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards
• Inspecting your work to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements
• Using small hand tools, microscopes, and other precision equipment
• Cleaning and preparing products and surfaces for processing
• Assisting with packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities
• Inspecting, cleaning, refurbishing, and reassembling coating fixtures as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures when required
• Supporting additional production activities based on business needs

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• SCS Reading Comprehension Assessment may be accepted in lieu of a GED

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to perform precision work using small tools and equipment
• Ability to distinguish between the colors red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet
• Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods
• Ability to meet visual acuity requirements with or without corrective lenses

Work Environment

Depending on the assigned work area, employees may:

• Work in a cleanroom environment
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Follow cleanroom hygiene and contamination-control procedures
• Operate precision measuring instruments and record results
• Handle products and materials in accordance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
