Job Description Warehouse / Package Handler
Overview
Location: DeSoto, TX 75115
Pay: 18 an hour
Warehouse/ Package Handlers needed to help process and move packages inside a fast-paced distribution facility. It’s typically entry-level, part-time work with flexible shifts.
Main Duties Typical responsibilities include:
- Unload trailers and incoming shipments.
- Sort packages by ZIP code / route.
- Load delivery trucks for drivers.
- Move packages across conveyor belts and staging areas.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team to finish daily sorting.
This is a very active job:
- Stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (sometimes more).
- Push, pull, and carry packages.
- Work in hot or cold warehouse conditions depending on season.
