Location: Houston, TX 77011
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp to Hire, Dayshift, 16-17hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Filler to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting, have strong attention to detail, and be committed to accuracy and productivity. This facility is not climate-controlled, and candidates must be able to work in hot temperatures and varying weather conditions throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pull and fill customer orders accurately from warehouse inventory.
Verify quantities, product numbers, and order details before staging.
Prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery.
Organize and stage materials in designated areas.
Assist with loading and unloading products as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and damaged materials.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
Work closely with warehouse staff and customer service personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, order pulling, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret order tickets and shipping documents.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Ability to tolerate heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and moving vehicles.
