Product Designer

TestCo1 is seeking a Product Designer to help shape intuitive, user-centered product experiences in Mountain View, CA.

Position Summary

The Product Designer will partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to design customer-focused experiences from concept through delivery. This role emphasizes strong design thinking, clear communication, and the ability to translate user needs into usable, compelling product experiences.

You will contribute to end-to-end design activities, including research, ideation, interaction design, and iterative refinement, ensuring design decisions are grounded in user insights and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and iterate product design solutions across the full lifecycle, from early concepts to final UI/UX experiences.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements, clarify problem statements, and align on measurable outcomes.

• Produce design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished user interface designs.

• Evaluate usability and experience quality through testing, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

• Communicate design rationale effectively through presentations, documentation, and stakeholder reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end product experiences, including translating user needs into practical solutions.

• Strong skills in interaction design and user experience fundamentals, with an eye for usability and visual clarity.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and incorporate feedback while maintaining design integrity.

• Proficiency in producing clear design documentation and communicating design decisions to stakeholders.

• Portfolio showing thoughtful, user-centered product design work and measurable impact.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in agile product environments and partnering closely with engineering teams.

• Familiarity with user research methods and experience using insights to drive design decisions.

• Experience designing for complex product ecosystems or multi-surface workflows.

• Strong understanding of design systems and consistency across product interfaces.

Compensation
