Job Location: New York, NY

Duration: 10 Weeks

Travel Compensation:

  • Weekly W2: $800
  • Weekly Stipend: $1,800.40
  • Gross Weekly Pay: $2,600.40

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule:

  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 5 × 8-Hour Shifts
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • 30-Minute Unpaid Meal Break

Position Type: Travel Contract

Work Setting: 100% Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinic/Ambulatory to provide high-quality nursing care in a busy outpatient clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Med/Surg or ambulatory clinic experience, along with strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/clinic setting.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
  • Perform IV insertion and related nursing procedures.
  • Perform phlebotomy and safely collect blood specimens.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and communicate concerns to appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols.
  • Provide compassionate and professional patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program required.
Licensure & Certifications
  • Active New York State RN License required.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required.
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Clinic/Ambulatory experience required.
  • IV insertion skills required.
  • Phlebotomy skills required.
  • Strong patient assessment and clinical care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy ambulatory/clinic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills.
