JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Warehouse– Packer LTL

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

REPORTS TO: QC & Packer Lead Position

Summary: This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in preparing materials for shipping by weighing, packing.

Essential Functions:

· Verify products and quantity of items delivered by order pickers to packing slips by physically verifying part numbers, quantity of each item(s), measurement or description, etc.

· Report defective materials, inaccurate quantity or wrong part to the Depot Supervisor.

· Have all packing materials ready and available prior to pre-packing and staging of an order.

· Ensure that products are packed correctly using banding and shrink-wrap so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages/shortages.

· Is punctual and consistently available for work.

· Perform the cleaning and maintenance duties.

· Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.

· Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.

· Ability to lift/move 50lbs using proper lifting skills.

 Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

· 1-year of experience in a warehouse position.

· High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

· Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Good verbal communication skills

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

· Must be able to read, write and speak English

· Possesses basic math skills
