$110,000 - $130,000 per year + Annual Bonus

A growing and well-established manufacturer is expanding operations in the Phoenix market and is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily production operations within a welding and fabrication environment.

Important Experience Requirement
This role requires prior leadership experience in a welding and fabrication manufacturing environment. Candidates without hands-on experience managing welding and fabrication operations will not be considered for this position.
Plant Manager Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations in a welding and fabrication facility
- Drive productivity, throughput, quality, and on-time delivery performance
- Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and production inefficiencies
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Manage and develop supervisors, team leads, and production employees
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues
- Manage workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE 3+ years of manufacturing or fabrication experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a production environment
- Experience managing welding and fabrication operations
- MUST HAVE strong understanding of MIG welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Experience leading hourly production employees
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Manufacturing Manager experience
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
- Strong knowledge of production metrics and operational performance management
