Receiving - Day Shift

• Scan MTRs (Mill Test Reports).
• Maintains missing MTR report and communicate with vendors to obtain MTRs.
• Set up Rail Cars and Vessels when help needed.
• Receive all Direct Shipments.
• Review all receiving documentation and match to system generated receiving report to ensure proper receiving.
• Receiving discrepancies are to be given to Receiving Supervisor for review and approval. Then have Buyer and Inventory Manager approve.
• Copy all damaged material documents and give them to Quality Manager.
• Daily maintains the Inbound Truck/Railcar check in/out to ensure prompt checkout.
• Other clerical duties include Support for Inventory Manager.

• Must know Pipe, Fittings and Flanges.
• Some College Education preferred.
• 3-5 years of previous general office experience.
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) experience a plus.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Flexibility of schedule is helpful.
• Must be comfortable with interruptions and handling multiple projects and tasks at one time.
• Flexibility regarding work schedule necessary; some Saturday work possible.
• Accounting background or experience helpful.

• The employee will regularly be required to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
• The employee will work on and look at a computer screen for several hours or more every day.
• Verbal communication is vital between internal and external clients, customers, and employees.
• Some lifting of 10-25 lbs. may be necessary on occasion.
