The Opportunity

You will play a foundational role in our daily operations by managing the flow of critical building materials for our residential customers. This position offers the chance to work in a high-energy, outdoor environment where your physical contributions directly support local construction and home improvement. How You Will Make an Impact

• Facilitate the efficient movement of lumber and building materials to meet daily customer and contractor needs.
• Execute the pulling and staging of complex orders to ensure accuracy for local delivery and pickup.
• Operate forklifts and specialized material-handling equipment safely following comprehensive internal training.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels across the lumberyard to optimize accessibility and workflow.
• Assist customers and professional contractors with the manual loading and unloading of heavy materials.
• Collaborate with delivery drivers to streamline loading dock operations and maintain strict turnaround times.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards and cleanliness protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment for the team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Ability to consistently lift and maneuver 50–75 lbs in an active, hands-on setting.
• Resilience and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven reliability and a strong work ethic as evidenced by past professional or personal experience.
• Capacity to follow complex safety instructions and work effectively within a team-oriented structure.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lumberyard, warehouse, or construction labor role.
• Basic functional knowledge of residential building materials, including lumber grades and panel types.
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery or material handling equipment.
