Job Description
Facility: Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital
Location: Sweetwater, TX
Address: 200 E Arizona Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $52 – $54/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,872 – $1,944/week (36 hrs/week)
Provide direct nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, including monitoring labor progression, fetal heart rate assessment, assisting with deliveries, postpartum care, and responding to obstetric emergencies.
RequirementsActive RN license (TX or compact eligible)
Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Strong experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Ability to work independently on night shifts in acute care setting
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN preferred)
Hospital Labor & Delivery Unit
Acute Care Maternal/Newborn Services
Floating Required: Yes (as needed)
May float to postpartum or women’s health units based on hospital needs
