About Kelly’s Auto Repair

Kelly’s Auto Repair is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to become the first dedicated advisor on its growing team. This Monday-Friday opportunity pays $23-$27/hour DOE plus commission/bonus and offers approximately 40 hours per week with no Saturdays. You’ll work directly with the owner in a six-bay, six-lift independent repair shop servicing domestic, Asian, European, and select fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers while providing a professional, straightforward service experience
• Build and present repair estimates and clearly explain recommended repairs and preventive maintenance
• Communicate with customers by phone, text, and email and provide updates throughout the repair process
• Work with technicians to understand inspection findings and accurately communicate recommendations
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with service-related questions
• Help keep repair orders and vehicles moving efficiently through the shop
• Check out customers and process payments
• Support the shop’s growing service process as its first dedicated Automotive Service Advisor

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience required
• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor or relevant automotive front-office experience preferred
• Approximately 5 years of Service Advisor experience is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of common automotive repairs and maintenance
• Ability to confidently present estimates and sell recommended services
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including phone, text, and email
• Coachable, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a growing independent repair shop

Compensation & Benefits

• $23-$27/hour DOE plus commission/bonus
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• 5 days of PTO during the first year
• 2 sick days during the first year
