This is a unique opportunity for a CT Technologist who is also willing to perform X-Ray duties at a scenic rural hospital located in Leadville, Colorado, the highest incorporated city in the United States at 10,152 feet elevation. Surrounded by iconic mountain peaks including Mount Elbert and Mount Massive, the facility is within driving distance of Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, and other premier ski destinations.
Assignment Highlights

- Schedule: Days; weekdays and weekends
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Compensation
- Pay Rate: $52/hr
- Estimated Weekly Package: $3,118
- Housing Stipend: $770/week
- Meals & Incidentals: $476/week
Call Requirements
- Three 12-hour scheduled shifts per week
- Three 12-hour call shifts per week in addition to scheduled shifts
- Must remain within 10 minutes of the facility while on call
- Sleep rooms with a small kitchen are available for staff on call
- $4/hour standby pay
- Double pay for hours worked when called in
Facility Information
- Small rural hospital environment
- Typically 20-24 patients per day
- Usually 1 CT technologist working at a time, occasionally 2
- No fixed schedule
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
Required
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
- CT Certification
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- At least 1 year of CT and X-Ray experience
- Mammography certification
- Spanish/English bilingual skills
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to perform well under pressure
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 75 lbs
