Parts Counterperson

Volkswagen of Newnan is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team in Newnan, GA. This role involves providing expert parts sales and support to customers and service technicians, ensuring smooth and efficient parts operations within our dealership. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels efficiently
• Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Collaborate with other departments to support dealership operations and customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with Volkswagen parts and product knowledge to better serve customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
