Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day field operations on a variety of commercial building projects. This full‑time role is responsible for supervising subcontractors, coordinating site activities, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high‑quality workmanship from project start to finish.This position requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of commercial construction practices, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to manage fast‑paced job sites.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities for commercial projects.
• Supervise subcontractors, field crews, and jobsite operations daily.
• Maintain and update construction schedules; ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and site logistics.
• Communicate effectively with project management regarding progress and challenges.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and lead safety meetings.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and jobsite documentation.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 3+ years in a Superintendent or Lead Foreman position.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of local building codes, inspections, and permitting procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with field reporting or project management software preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
