General Crew

Figure 9 Construction is looking for a General Crew Member to support our growing workload across maintenance, apartment make-readies, tenant improvements, and residential remodels in the Anchorage area. This is a hands-on field role covering multiple trades — from quick unit turns and punch-list repairs to full remodel tasks — working alongside our operations team and existing crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform "make ready" turns on rental units and houses between tenants
• Complete general repairs: basic plumbing, light electrical, drywall patch/finish, painting, carpentry
• Support tenant improvement and remodel projects (kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, trim, doors)
• Handle punch-list and inspection-driven repairs
• Use company systems (Buildertrend) to receive work orders, log progress, and upload photos — training on the app will be provided
• Pick up materials as needed and keep jobs moving efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

Requirements

• Working knowledge across at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry)
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable personal transportation (own vehicle) and willingness to travel between job sites in the Anchorage area
• Able to work independently and complete full days of work
• Comfortable using a smartphone/apps for job management (Buildertrend)
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and work ethic

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or make-ready work preferred
• Basic understanding of residential systems and repair standards
• Good communication skills with clients, property managers, and teammates
• Able to lift and carry tools/materials as needed
