General Laborer - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

We are hiring dependable General Laborers to support a project at a wastewater/biosolids treatment facility. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general site cleanup and final project closeout
• Sweep, shovel, remove debris, and organize work areas
• Move materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist the superintendent and skilled trades with basic tasks
• Support punch-list and project closeout activities
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Work around wastewater/biosolids operations and strong odors

Requirements

• Construction background REQUIRED
• Previous general labor or industrial experience
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Strong team player with a dependable work ethic
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Able to follow safety instructions and wear required PPE
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred, but not required
• Must be local to Columbus, GA
