Automotive Salesperson

The Automotive Salesperson plays a key role in driving sales of used vehicles within a dealership, contributing to overall dealership-wide goals. As part of a sales team, this individual engages customers, demonstrates vehicles, and negotiates sales to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets. Occasional local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and assist customers throughout the sales process
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations showcasing features and benefits
• Negotiate sales terms to finalize deals effectively
• Generate leads to expand the customer base
• Follow up with customers to foster relationships and encourage repeat business

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in automotive sales
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Strong vehicle knowledge, especially of used vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective negotiation abilities
• Clear and persuasive communication skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
