Lead Mover / Driver

At Away We Go Moving, we help people through one of life's biggest transitions. We're looking for dependable, hard-working team members who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and providing excellent customer service.

No two days are the same. You'll work with a crew to safely pack, protect, load, transport, and unload customers' belongings while delivering a professional, stress-free moving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely pack, wrap, load, transport, and unload household goods and furniture.
• Drive company moving trucks safely and responsibly.
• Protect customers' homes and belongings throughout the move.
• Work as part of a team to complete moves efficiently.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain clean trucks, equipment, and moving supplies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Washington State Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) before hire.
• Able to lift heavy furniture with a teammate throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Moving, delivery, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus, but not required. We provide paid training.

Schedule

• Hours vary based on customer demand.
• Weekend work and overtime may be required.
• Some jobs involve long days until the move is complete.
• Local, long-distance, and overnight moves are part of this position.
• During peak season, 40+ hour weeks are common.
