Registered Behavior Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a vital role in providing behavioral interventions primarily within home-based and school settings. The RBT works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement treatment plans, collect accurate data, and support individuals in achieving meaningful behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA
• Collect and record data on clients’ behavior and progress
• Document session activities and outcomes comprehensively
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBA and other team members

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in behavior analysis
• Proficiency in data collection techniques
• Strong patience and empathy when working with clients
• Excellent observation skills
• Accurate and timely documentation skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
