Laboratory Technician

BEPC is actively looking for Laboratory Technician, in the San Angelo, TX area!

W2 Contract – 1 year with possible extensions!

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model: On-site - San Angelo, TX. The selected candidate will initially work first shift for

a period determined by the hiring manager. Afterward, the regular schedule will be 5:00 p.m.

to 3:00 a.m., rotating four days on and four days off. The schedule may include weekends and

holidays.

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered

Summary of the Role:

BEPC is seeking a responsible Laboratory Technician to perform routine and complex

technical tasks in a laboratory setting. This role prepares and conducts experiments, handles

laboratory equipment, collects and analyzes samples, records data, and maintains accurate

records. The technician also supports quality control and helps ensure laboratory processes

follow applicable safety standards, procedures, and protocols.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine calculations and prepare documentation showing test results.

• Ensure personal and Company compliance with applicable Federal, State, local, and

Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Perform other duties assigned by Laboratory Management.

• Maintain quality control so raw materials and finished products meet requirements,

standard operating procedures, government regulations, Quality Systems

Requirements (QSR), and ISO standards.

• Execute basic microbiology analyses on in-process samples and finished products,

including microbial count, environmental monitoring, and sterility testing, in

accordance with current procedures and pharmacopoeias.

• Document inspection results, acceptance, rejection, and disposition in logbooks or

computer systems such as LIMS and Empower.

• Support departmental and company continuous-improvement activities, including

Lean and laboratory compliance initiatives.

• Maintain systematic control of nonconforming product.

• Participate in special product-testing requests, including qualification protocols.

• Follow proper safety and environmental procedures and practices.

• Comply with applicable quality management, environmental, safety, and occupational

health policies, including ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic knowledge of microbiology principles, theories, practices, and methodology.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good organizational and self-motivation skills.

• Strong adherence to quality, attendance, and performance standards.

• Ability to speak, comprehend, and write English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software.
