Skilled Industrial Painter

A well-established St. Louis manufacturer of residential and commercial lighting products is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter.

Pay: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, day shift

Responsibilities

• Spray-paint metal lighting fixtures, poles, housings, brackets, and related components
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings according to specifications
• Ensure consistent color, coverage, thickness, and finish quality
• Inspect completed parts for runs, sags, missed areas, and other defects
• Touch up finished products when necessary
• Clean and maintain spray guns, paint equipment, and work areas
• Work with production and assembly teams to meet quality and scheduling requirements
• Follow all safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and coatings

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing spray-painting experience required
• Experience painting metal products, fabricated parts, or equipment preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation, primers, and industrial coatings
• Ability to produce a smooth, consistent finish on parts of different sizes and shapes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move parts throughout the shift
