Behavior Therapist

A Behavior Therapist works independently to provide direct therapeutic services primarily in clients' homes. This role involves implementing sessions, collecting detailed data, monitoring client progress, and maintaining accurate documentation using specialized software. Regular interaction with families is essential to support therapeutic goals and ensure collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior therapy sessions according to prescribed plans
• Collect and record detailed data to track client progress
• Monitor client progress to adjust interventions as needed
• Document sessions and data using specialized software tools
• Engage regularly with families to support therapeutic outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in behavior therapy
• High school diploma
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Proficiency in data collection and documentation
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and ability to work independently
• Team collaboration skills despite independent work setting
