Mechanic

A well-established company in the industrial processing industry is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy industrial equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed for repairs
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Follow all safety protocols and support a strong safety culture on the plant floor
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and provide timely resolution

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as an industrial, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
• Welding/fabrication experience a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver's license
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
