Inventory/Warehouse Worker - CC

A local manufacturing company is seeking an Inventory/Warehouse Worker to assist in the end-to-end flow of raw materials in a manufacturing environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unloading steel, assembly components, and electronics using forklifts, overhead cranes, or pallet jacks
• Check received components against purchase orders to ensure accuracy
• Route incoming parts directly to specific manufacturing cells or designated inventory bins
• Issue parts kits to assembly technicians based on engineering bills of materials 
• Track serialized components and expensive custom machinery parts within the ERP/inventory system
• Perform routine cycle counts on high-turnover hardware and manufacturing consumables
• Build custom wooden crates or pallets to safely secure large, heavy machinery for transport
• Apply protective coatings, shrink wrap, and tie-downs to prevent damage from moisture or shifting during transit
• Prepare freight documentation including domestic Bills of Lading, international commercial invoices, and related paperwork

Job Qualifications:

• Must have previous Inventory and Warehouse experience
• Must be able to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks
• Must have the ability to track components and custom machinery parts within the ERP/inventory system
• The ability to perform routine cycle counts on hardware and manufacturing consumables is needed
• Must be able to build wooden crates or pallets that will safely secure large, heavy machinery for transport
• Must be detail oriented and safety conscious while being highly organized and able to multi-task
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
