CNC Machinist – Level 1–3

Location: Alameda County, CA
Pay: $25–$35/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for CNC Machinists – Level 1, 2, and 3 to join a manufacturing team in Alameda County. We are open to entry-level machinists with basic CNC experience as well as experienced machinists who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Load and unload materials and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Make basic machine offsets and adjustments.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

Level 1 – Entry/Junior

• 6+ months of CNC machining experience or technical training.
• Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and shop tools.

Level 2 – Experienced

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Able to set up machines and make tool/offset adjustments.
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.

Level 3 – Senior

• 4+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Advanced setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience with CNC programming/editing is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• CNC Mill and/or Lathe experience
• G-code/M-code knowledge
• GD&T knowledge
• Experience with Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
