Labor and Delivery RN

We’re hiring a Travel RN (L&D) for an on-site hospital assignment. This role focuses on safe, patient-centered nursing care, strong assessment skills, thorough documentation, and consistent adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.

Location: Morristown, NJ
Setting: On-site hospital environment
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Anticipated start: September 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, systematic, and accurate patient assessments and deliver appropriate care.
• Provide direct patient care in support of a collaborative care team; demonstrate strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation aligned with nursing and documentation guidelines (including patient education).
• Demonstrate professionalism by following policies/procedures and identifying opportunities for clinical growth.
• Promote patient satisfaction through professional, courteous communication with patients, families, and team members.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Follow patient safety protocols (including 2 patient identifiers, universal protocol, and safe transfer/body mechanics).
• Individualize patient care based on patient condition/diagnoses and procedures; assess patient response and understanding of instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• English proficiency (speak/read/write)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
