Job Description
Thor Xpress Transport, LLC is a well established and growing logistics company specializing in air freight trucking, linehaul LTL, and FTL.
We are seeking an experienced regional CDL-A driver for a dedicated route between NJ and Boston, MA, operating three times per week. This position includes multiple scheduled stops along the route, with additional pay for stops and other applicable extras.
This is a consistent regional position ideal for a professional driver looking for a dedicated route, steady weekly pay, and predictable work.
KEY DUTIES
- Run the dedicated NJ-Boston, MA route three times per week
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely and in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Complete multiple pick up and delivery stops as assigned
- Transport time-sensitive freight according to established schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure freight is properly secured and handled during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain required signatures
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, warehouse personnel, and other team members
- Provide excellent customer service at all pickup and delivery locations
- Promptly report delays, incidents, equipment issues, or other service disruptions
- Perform additional routing or delivery duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class-A CDL
- Minimum of 2-years Class A CDL Driving experience
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete Thor Xpress Transport's driver's road test
- Must meet all DOT physical qualification requirements, including 49 CFR Part 391
- Clean and safe driving record
- Ability to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in regional and metropolitan environments
- Ability to read and understand safety procedures, shipping documents, and delivery instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet time-sensitive delivery schedules
- Must be eligible to obtain TSA airport security clearance
COMPENSATION
- Earn $1800.00 per week for completing three (3) dedicated Boston route runs per week, subject to satisfactory completion of all duties
- Additional compensation is available for multiple stops, applicable extra work, and services
