Local Delivery Driver

NSDC Logistics Corp., a contractor for FedEx, is now hiring full and part time delivery drivers in the Fredericksburg, VA / Stafford, VA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages locally, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a safe driving record.

Pay is by the day: $185-$985 per day, depending on experience

• Paid Bi Weekly

Work Hours: 8:00 am until deliveries are completed. We are a 6 day per week operation, with occasional need for 7 days during peak season(s).

Full time and part time available. Schedule will vary. 

Drivers will be operating out of the FedEx terminal: 180 Centreport Pkwy,Fredericksburg, VA, 22406

Drivers will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in and throughout this general area.

Our drivers will be operating mostly box trucks  and occasionally a sprinter van. All automatic vehicles furnished by the employer.

CDL License is NOT required!!!

• Must have CLEAN background and motor vehicle record!
• MUST BE 21 Or Older!
• 1 Year of verifiable driving experience for a job in the past 3 years!
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT physical which is paid by the employer.
• Physically able to lift packages up to 50 lbs. and packages up to 150lbs. with the help of a dolly.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up vehicle and packages.
• Loading and unloading packages from vehicle.
• Delivering packages to the proper destination
• Scanning and logging packages.

Delivery Driver Benefits:

• Vacation Pay: PTO for full time employees. 5 days after 1 year of service and 8 days after 3 years or more of service.  
• 401 K: For full time employees. Company match of up to 3% of contributions after 1 year of employment. 

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 21+ years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Background check
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review
• Drug screening
