Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist is needed in the healthcare organization. This role involves assisting with procedures and providing diagnostic support by conducting organ or body scans on patients. The position requires preparing patients and selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters, administering contrast media, and observing patient activity during procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Assists with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepares and positions patients, selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately, prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines. Observes patients during procedures and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates as needed. Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Capable of performing specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular, nonvascular interventional, and therapeutic procedures, along with supporting the Radiologist/Physician Assistant. Ensures all activities meet regulatory standards.
  • Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer, credentialed as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 6 months of hire or transfer, Cardiographic Technician credentialed from the same certifying body prior to start, and Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists prior to start.
  • Schedule: Shifts from 0645-1700 or 0700-1730; 10 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week.
