Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist requiring RT(ARRT) registration and IR/neuro or CT training for a hospital-based radiology unit.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital radiology department
- 10-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- On-call and weekend coverage required
- Weekly orientation held every Monday (barring holidays)
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- RT (ARRT) registration required
- Massachusetts Radiology license required if applicable
- Must be trained in neuro or CT in addition to IR
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Knowledge of GE/Siemens imaging equipment required
- Experience with thrombectomy devices (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, thrombectomy, and related vascular interventions
- Must provide interview availability and RTO requests at time of consideration
- Candidates who have worked for this health system as travel, perm, or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible and must be separated for six months
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for hard-to-fill positions
- Radius requirement of 50 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
