Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with expertise in IR, CT, or neuro imaging and GE/Siemens equipment knowledge for a 26-week assignment.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit setting
- 10-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- Orientation held weekly, every Monday barring a holiday
- Uses GE/Siemens imaging equipment
Requirements
- Registered Technologist (RT/ART) certification required
- MA Radiology License required if applicable
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- Must be trained in neuro or CT imaging in addition to IR
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, thrombectomy, and related vascular interventions
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must present RTO requests and interview availability at time of consideration
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- Local candidates not typically accepted; radius rule of 50 miles applies, though hard-to-fill roles may be considered case by case
