Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Certified Laboratory (CL) Technician in Springfield This role involves providing direct patient care within the Interventional Radiology department of a healthcare facility. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment supporting vascular cases, with a focus on patient assessment, preparation, and clinical procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) only. Preferred certifications include ARRT or RCIS.
- Education: No specific education requirement specified.
- Location Requirements: Must be within a reasonable distance of Springfield, MO.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Vascular Technician experience required; 0 years minimum experience listed.
- Schedule: Days shift, 4x10 hours per week, scheduled between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include utilizing nursing processes to manage patient care, coordinating with other departments, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting vascular case procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab as needed.
- The candidate must have demonstrated clinical expertise in vascular procedures, and surgical scrub experience is preferred.
- Additional administrative and clinical duties include monitoring patient progress, ensuring safety, and providing compassionate patient care during outpatient and critical care scenarios.
