Job Summary
CT Technologist Location not specified. This position involves performing computed tomography scans within a busy emergency and outpatient setting. The candidate will support a high-volume department with a focus on acute care imaging services.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT Certification required.
- Education: Certification and licensure as specified.
- Location Requirements: Valid state license, compact license accepted, and a local radius of 50 miles.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience.
- Schedule: Shift Time Days; Shift Hours 12; Minimum Hours Per Week 36.
- Additional Qualifications: Ability to perform abdominal, brain, chest, pelvis, thoracic, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging, including contrast administration and radiation safety procedures.
- Special Equipment: Use of Toshiba Aquilion and GE Lightspeed CT scanners.
- Responsibilities include assisting with high-volume imaging, supporting emergency department protocols, and working in a very busy department that primarily handles ED and outpatient scans.
- The candidate must be open to working all shift times, with start times at 0600 or 0800, and must be able to support holiday coverage.
- The role may require supporting outpatients and transport support for high-volume stroke center operations.
- References: Candidates must submit two references covering at least one year during the last three years.
- The candidate should have no prior work restrictions at a Providence facility.*
