Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with IR, neuro or CT training and ARRT registration to support a busy hospital-based IR unit.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT registration required
- MA Radiology license required if applicable
- Must be trained in Neuro or CT in addition to IR
- GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly, typically every Monday barring holidays
- Candidates must provide interview availability at time of consideration
- All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
- Candidates who have worked for this health system as travel, perm, or per diem staff within the last 6 months are not eligible until fully separated for 6 months
- Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
