Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with IR training in neuro or CT, scrub and circulator experience, and ARRT registration.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other weekend required
- 40 hours per week over a 26-week assignment
- On-call and weekend coverage required
- GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT registration required
- Massachusetts Radiology license required if applicable
- Must be trained in neuro or CT along with IR
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Interview availability and RTO requests must be provided at time of consideration
- Candidates who have worked for this health system as travel, perm, or per diem staff within the last six months will not be considered
- Must be separated from the facility for six months prior to consideration
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates generally not accepted, though case-by-case exceptions may be made for hard-to-fill roles
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
