Freight Material Handler - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading logistics provider specializing in large consumer products, is seeking a Freight Material Handlers to join their team. As a Freight Material Handlers, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting distribution across Utah, Idaho, and Montana. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, dependability, and the ability to take initiative, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Freight Material Handlers

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $22

Shift: 1st Shift (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)

Shift :2nd Shift (12:30 PM - 9 pm Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)

What's the Job?

• Operate sit-down propane forklifts to move oversized consumer products such as furniture, appliances, and televisions
• Assist with dock operations including loading and unloading freight
• Utilize RF scanners to scan and track freight movement
• Support manual handling and movement of products up to 40 lbs
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment

What's Needed?

• Recent sit-down propane forklift experience
• Warehouse and dock experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move products up to 40 lbs
• English speaking and comprehension skills
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
